Welcome!

Hi, I'm Karmen Scharff-Sears. I have had the honor of working for Kearney Public Schools since 2012 as a school counselor.  Currently, I work full-time at Meadowlark Elementary and love it!  I love my students, parents, and the awesome staff we have at Meadowlark.  Meadowlark is my "second" family.  My "first" family consists of my husband, Tom, our son, Collin and his wife Macy, our son, Connor, and our daughter, Kendra.  We have three granddogs, Mila, Kira, and Sadie.

Here are a some things to get to know me better. :)

1.  I love love love popcorn and ice cream.  

2.  I love classic TV, classic movies, and reading.

3.  I love traveling with my family.

4.  I love Royals and Cardinals Baseball.

5.  I love at-home walking programs. 

6.  I have 2 sisters, and I am the middle child.

7.  I grew up on a farm and love country living. 

8.  I love learning! 

9.  I love being a school counselor! 

 

I'm here to help students, staff, and all of the families at Meadowlark. I will always do my best to be supportive and of assistance.  Meadowlark is a FABULOUS school!  I work hard to get to know the many families at Meadowlark! I am honored to help out the best I can! I'm glad you are a Meadowlark Voyager!
