Greetings from Mr. Seeba
Clay Seeba - PE Teacher Meadowlark
My name is Clay Seeba and I currently live and teach in Kearney, NE. This is my eighth year of teaching K-5 physical education at Meadowlark Elementary. I will also serve as the assistant Kearney High boys tennis coach and the head 7th-grade girls basketball coach at Horizon Middle School.
I was born and raised in Johnson, NE, and completed my undergraduate studies at Peru State College. In 2020, I earned my master’s degree in physical education at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Elmwood-Murdock is where I started my teaching and coaching career in 2003. I taught fifth grade and was an assistant coach for the varsity girls basketball team and the head varsity girls track and field coach. After three years at Elmwood-Murdock, my wife Shellie and I moved to Fort Collins, CO where I taught fifth grade at Mountain View Elementary in Windsor and Rice Elementary in Wellington. We moved back to Nebraska in 2009 where I landed a fifth-grade teaching position at Meadowlark Elementary.
My wife, Shellie, is a financial advisor with Edward Jones. We have a son named Cale (13) who is in 8th grade at Horizon Middle School and a daughter Ayla (12) who will be in 6th grade at Horizon. Shellie and I enjoy spending time coaching youth sports. As a family, you can often find us playing golf, riding our bikes, going on walks, and enjoying our time with family and friends.
I look forward to an amazing year encouraging, motivating, and instructing your child in physical education! Below is a link to the Google Classroom website and webpage.
