Welcome to Meadowlark Elementary!
Hello, I’m Mark Stute, principal of Meadowlark Elementary.
I am excited for another fantastic year of learning, growing and making memories! Being a part of the Meadowlark family has been the highlight of my career in education.
I have been in education since 1991. My first 8 years, I was a High School Business teacher at Ravenna High School and also served as the High School Volleyball Coach. After I received my Masters in Business Education and endorsements in K-6 and 7-12 Principalships, I moved to Sidney, Nebraska (my hometown) to be the 4th – 6th grade Principal of West Elementary and Central Elementary for 7 years. In 2006, I was honored to be selected as the Principal at Meadowlark Elementary and have loved that decision each and every day. Being part of the Meadowlark TEAM and family is incredible.
I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter and son, both who attended Meadowlark Elementary and now live in Colorado. My wife works at UNK. I love all sporting events and specifically volleyball. We have a Labrador retriever named Maia.
