Hello Meadowlark students and parents! 

 

My name is Mrs. Lynn Stewart, and I have been the school librarian (a.k.a. media specialist) at Meadowlark Elementary School since 2016.  My previous experience in education includes being a kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade teacher in a Dawson County rural school, a media para-professional, and a middle school librarian.  I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Chadron State College, and a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology with a School Librarian concentration from the University of Nebraska.

 

Meadowlark students have library (media) class once per week.  Students learn about technology, digital citizenship and literature in library class, as well as have the opportunity to check out books.  Additionally, I run a Maker-space program, which is a student favorite!
